Bird identification with Eliza Hawkins

Did you know that in our very own McCord park you can easily see 30 to 40 species of birds in a couple hours?

The Betton Hills Neighborhood Association would like to help you get outside and learn about birds in our neighborhood. If you are a beginning birder (intermediate birders welcome too) and would like some pointers we will schedule a bird walk for you in McCord Park.

If interested, email me at President@Bettonhills.org, and we will organize a birding experience for you in our neighborhood.

There are great birding resources on the web. If you are a beginner here are a couple of bird id resources:

If you want to find specific birds in Leon County (or anywhere in the world) and/or you want to keep a list of your birds, the website ebird.org is a great tool.
